Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup pistachios, chopped (unsalted)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Brown the Butter: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Continue cooking until it turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Mix Sugars and Eggs: In a large bowl, combine the brown butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Add Chocolate and Pistachios: Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pistachios until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Spread in Pan: Pour the cookie dough into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool and Cut: Allow the cookie bars to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and enjoy these delightful Brown Butter Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars! ❤️🍪
