Instructions
- Prepare Apples: Core and slice the apples into thin strips, resembling fries.
- Set Up Breading Station: In one bowl, mix together the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and granulated sugar. In another bowl, whisk the egg and milk together. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Coat Apple Fries: Dip each apple slice into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Arrange in Air Fryer: Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the apple fries in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd.
- Air Fry: Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the apple fries are golden and crispy.
