Instructions
- Prepare the Lime Cream Mixture: In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, lime zest, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Whip the Cream: In another bowl, beat the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the whipped cream into the lime cream mixture until fully incorporated, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream.
- Prepare the Graham Cracker Crust: In a small bowl, mix the crushed graham crackers with melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
- Assemble the Trifle: In a large glass bowl or individual cups, layer the graham cracker mixture at the bottom, followed by a layer of lime cream. Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with lime cream on top.
- Top and Chill: Spread fresh whipped cream over the top layer and garnish with lime slices and zest. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving
